Background

Jenny is one of the longest standing members of the pole fit team and brings with her a persistent and infectious positive attitude. Having always had a passion for dance, Jenny engaged with Hip Hop classes at high school. She also performed in several shows as well as making promotional footage to help encourage other kids into dance. Jenny was lucky enough to take part in Girls on the Move when at high school, a project designed to increase physical activity levels amongst girls and young women in Scotland. She then went on to teach Hip Hop in her last year at high school as part of an after school club for younger kids.

Jenny volunteers her time every week to the Girl Guides. She has been a volunteer Leader with the guides since she was 18 and gained qualifications in Leadership to be a registered leader and help run her units.

Whilst at the class past performances have included a variety of performances over the years for Wolanski’s Pole&Aerial showcases and last year saw Jenny demonstrate at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2013 and Edinburgh Zoo’s Zoo Nights.

Jenny’s strengths lie in organising events and people. With a flair for theatre drama and interest in film and media Jenny successfully brings to life famous routines and manages to inflict her own twist of madness to it all! October 2013 saw her take charge of the dance routines that we performed in our Halloween Awakening Pole & Aerial Fitness show. She choreographed several dance numbers and trained several students over a 6 month period with the performances being displayed to an audience of over 400 people. Jenny not only choreographed and trained participants but she also took to the stage; racking up 4 performances in the one night!
