Background

Catherine has vast experience in dance holding an NC   with specialities in acrobatics, ballet, modern, and tap. She has performed at numerous venues for musicals and pantomimes. Amongst those venues are the Kings Theatre, Theatre Royal and the Mitchell Theatre. Catherine holds a PVG and is first aid certified. Following on from her dance background, Catherine took to pole fit 5 years ago. Since then she has taught her own sessions and has never left her theatrical background taking to the stage at the Wolanski’s Pole & Aerial Fitness annual showcases. She attends regular public demonstrations and performances some of which have included Edinburgh Zoo, The Edinburgh Fringe, The MacRobert Arts Centre, Forth Valley College Demonstrations, Stirling Race For Life Events, University of Stirling and the King Robert Hotel. We are proud to announce Catherine took first place with her doubles partner, Christopher Hunter, at the Scottish Pole Championships in Edinburgh in 2013.

Previous to attending Wolanski’s Pole & Aerial Fitness classes, Catherine was unfortunately involved in a car accident causing whiplash resulting in lower back injury. She was prescribed long term medication and had to take a big step back from her dance training which knocked her confidence. Her success story started when she took the courage to come along to Pole Fit which not only gave her a confidence boost, but also pain relief. She now no longer uses any medication due to the classes keeping her flexible and supple.

What you can expect to learn from Catherine
