Catherine Grant
  • Previous to attending Wolanski’s Pole & Aerial Fitness classes Catherine was unfortunately involved in a car accident causing whiplash resulting in lower back injury, she was prescribed long term medication and had to take a big step back from her dance training, knocking her confidence. Her success story started when she took the courage to come along to Pole Fit which not only gave her a confidence boost, but also pain relief. She now no longer uses any medication due to the classes keeping her flexible and supple.
What you can expect to learn from Catherine
  • Catherine’s strength in teaching pole and aerial hoop lie with her flexibility, in particular moves which require a great deal of back flexibility. She can guide you with stretches for you to improve upon; and is renowned for her patience throughout instruction. Catherine is in her element when combining musical pieces; so if you require more musicality and flow in your life then she is the instructor to help you on your way. Catherine’s pole tuition caters for beginners; intermediates and advanced students. Aerial hoop for solo beginners and beginner doubles. She is fantastic at single and combination spins; linking each one together in beautiful sequences. Slouching and flexed feet will not be tolerated in her sessions!
Children’s Classes
  • Catherine is fully qualified with a HND in Children’s Care, Learning and Development and is PVG registered. With over 8 years’ experience working with youngsters from babies to teens she is excellent at providing a unique class which combines safety and fun within a controlled environment. Catherine is a full time nanny and therefore understands the needs of a child and how to encourage creativity and team work. The classes improve child confidence and physical development.
